SARAH + AUSTIN

OUR STORY
WE ARE GETTING MARRIED !
For those who don’t know, the story of us first getting together started with a rejection! Sarah was dating someone when Austin first asked her out. She kindly blew him off (ouch!) and he was heartbroken that she wasn't interested. It wasn't until three years later that Karen Sather THANKFULLY set the two of us up, and after that, the rest is history.
Fast forward four years to the best part, THE PROPOSAL. We had a fun filled but jam packed Memorial Day weekend between a birthday party for Kelly, rehearsal dinner for Abby and Dorian, and their wedding on Sunday. On Monday, we had plans for drinks on the rooftop of the Kittredge Building with Austin's family before joining Jay and Mia for dinner. Little did Sarah know, this was all a ruse... Once on the rooftop, Austin got down on one knee in front of the gorgeous city lights and proposed to Sarah!! In all of the excitement, both Sarah and Austin forgot what exactly was said, but they both definitely remember that Sarah said yes!
To Sarah's surprise, when she turned around, there was Nate and Jay taking pictures and filming the whole thing. If you listen closely to the video you can probably even hear Candy screaming (in a good way!) as she ran over to us. More and more of our loved ones rushed to fill the rooftop to celebrate with us. Not only was Austin's whole family there but Sarah's as well. It truly was an amazing way to celebrate our engagement. To top it all off, three days later we left for an amazing trip to Italy and continued to thoroughly celebrate this exciting next step in our lives. And now we cant wait to have you all join us at our wedding in September!

XOXO

THE
WEDDING
Although we love children, our wedding ceremony and reception will be adult-only events. Thanks for your understanding!

GETTING
THERE
TRANSPORTATION
AIRPORT
DIA is the main airport that services the Denver area. Southwest is probably the best airline that flies into Denver, unless you have a different preferred airline.
Uber/Lyft
We suggest using Uber/Lyft to get from the Aiport to the hotel (≈$35-$50 each way)
For the wedding, there will be parking at the venue, however we strongly suggest using Uber/Lyft for those partaking in adult beverages (≈$15-$30 each way) and staying downtown.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Hotels
We have secured four different courtesy room blocks for the wedding. All the hotels are downtown and within 3 blocks of each other. Sarah and I will be staying at the Hyatt Regency, and that's where the home base will be for the wedding. Please let us know if any of the hotels run out of rooms and we can try to reserve more.

WEEKEND EVENTS
FRIDAY NIGHT COCKTAILS
For those staying downtown in one of our hotels or for anyone else who would like to join us, we will be grabbing a couple drinks after the rehearsal dinner at Marlowe's (01 16th St Mall, Denver, CO 80202) which is right accross from Pavilions and only two blocks from the Hyatt Regency. I would say we will be at the bar around 9-9:30pm.
OTHER WEEKENDS ACTIVITIES
We don't have any other planned activities for the weekend, but Denver is certainly a fun place to be in the summer/fall with a lot to offer. Here are some suggestions:
ROCKIES - The Dodgers are in town the weekend of our wedding and Friday night or Sunday could be a great chance to catch a ball game
BREWERIES - There are all sorts of great breweries in Denver to have a cold one. Some recommendations are 10 Barrel, Denver Beer Co, Lowdown, Platte Park, Ratio, Cerebral, etc.
GOLF - There are all sorts of great golf courses within a 30 minute drive from Denver. If you would like to play golf, bring your clubs and enjoy!

REGISTRY
We have tried to simplify our registry as much as possible. We are using myregistry.com as the main hub. Also, for anyone who would like to contribute to our 'eventual new house things fund' we would really appreciate a giftcard at The Brass Bed. Thanks so much for being part of our special day!!
